This set of tools support national planning for roll out and scale up of oral PrEP based on the experience of the Optimizing Prevention Technology Introduction on Schedule (OPTIONS) Consortium. The Consortium has supported ministries of health and technical working groups in South Africa, Kenya, and Zimbabwe to develop strategies for introducing oral PrEP. The tools cover essential information, clinical research, implementation research, policy and guidelines, advocacy and communication, training and country experience. They provide guidance on how to do situation analysis, landscape analysis, roll out scenarios, readiness assessment and the introduction of PrEP.
